Ledgano started with a shoebox of receipts and an editor who could not tell which of them mattered.
The guides follow the life of a piece of paper: when it arrives, whether to keep it, and what it tells you. Each one explains a few terms and nothing more.
Things we will never do
We will not tell you where to put your money, steer you to a provider, or pass your information on. Our job is to explain, not to sell.
Ledgano is published by The Nelson M Group LLC. It is an educational website only. We are not a bank, lender, credit service, tax preparer or financial adviser.
How we keep things accurate
Every guide is written by the Ledgano editorial team at The Nelson M Group LLC from general, widely shared guidance, such as material published by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the FDIC, the IRS and university extension programs. Each guide shows the month it was last reviewed, and we revisit them at least once a year.
